The responsibilities of a social media executive include:


 Handle SEO both on-page and off-page for the brand

Social media executive skills

 Ensuring the social media channels in use have regular, high quality and creative content output by maintaining page hygiene and consistency

 Managing queries and messages, replying to people and engaging with audiences, known as community management along with passing on leads to call center for conversion

 Scheduling and deliver messages through an up-to-date content calendar/ social media calendar

 Working with the wider marketing team to help deliver key messages and support on marketing campaigns and activity

 Implementing Performance Marketing on social media and delivering results according to Leads target month-on-month basis

 Analysing and report back on content, looking at key performance indicators and

content types to make recommendations

 Creating strong written posts that have excellent grammar and spelling that grab the

attention of the audience

 Working with other visual media designers to create exciting, empathetic content that

helps achieve the business aims

 Staying up to date with all developments in social media, such as legal changes, new

platforms and new features introduced

 Having a strong grasp of written English, including grammar and spelling. Being able to write in language that fits an audience, showing understanding, knowledge and nuance makes a huge difference to the effectiveness of content

 Creative thinking

 Time management and management of multiple different social media channels, potentially across multiple clients or time zones

 Good social media analytics go into granular levels of insights into every type of activity

 Communication

 Ensure adherence of branding guidelines of company throughout all social media channels
