The candidate will have opportunities to develop innovative solutions and have patent in their name as part of Client.

 

Client are looking for a technically sound security engineer to be responsible for the design, building, testing, implementation, and management of security systems within our IT environment, including our IT Network, IT Infrastructure, and IT Applications.

The Security Engineer must also have an understanding of the compliance domains in which client operate, and the corresponding implications for the security requirements for the client IT domain.

The security engineer’s responsibilities include:

·        managing client's current security architecture (including Network, Infrastructure and End Point Management), recommending enhancements, identifying areas of weakness, responding promptly to possible security issues managing future threats.

·        conducting regular system tests and ensuring the continuous monitoring of the network's security.

·        identifying and implementing appropriate security measures to fulfil compliance requirements.

·        providing guidance to developers to create more secure apps and ensure security of 3rd party applications and vendors.

To be a successful security engineer, you should be experienced in information security and IT risk assessment, IT compliance, and with an understanding of security protocols, authentication, security, and compliance regimens (HIPAA, Privacy, and Information Security Management Systems).

You should also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work with a wide variety of people.

 

Security Engineers Responsibilities

·        Analyse security systems and seek improvements on a continuous basis.

·        Identify and remediate possible threats or software issues.

·        Research security weaknesses and find ways to counter them.

·        Find cost-effective solutions to cybersecurity problems.

·        Understand software, hardware and network needs while adjusting them according to Bloom Value’s compliance and business environment.

·        Develop best practices and security standards for the organization.

·        Test company software, firmware, and firewalls on a regular basis.

·        Assist fellow employees with cybersecurity, software, hardware, or IT needs.

·        A thorough understanding of Microsoft’s Azure Cloud, Power, and M365 Platforms.

·        Researching and designing public key infrastructures, certification authorities, and digital signatures, and ensuring all personnel have IT access limited to their need and role in the organization.

·        Testing the final security system and updating and upgrading it as needed.

·        Establishing disaster recovery procedures and conducting security breach drills.

·        Responding quickly and effectively to all security incidents and providing post-event analyses.

·        Monitoring and guiding the security team, cultivating a sense of security awareness, and arranging for continuous education.

·        Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products.

·        Providing guidance to developers to create more secure applications.

·        Ensure security of 3rd party applications and vendors.

 

Security Engineer Requirements

·        A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field.

·        Advanced IT security certifications may be advantageous.

·        Familiar with Azure, M365 and Power Platforms and associated Security Controls

·        Protection of corporate networks from data breaches, human error, or cyber attacks

·        Recommend security upgrades if needed.

·        Threat Management processes - reactive and proactive

·        Architecture certifications related to Microsoft’s Azure Cloud, Power and M365 Platforms will be advantageous.

·        5-10 years' experience in information security and IT risk management.

·        A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs.

·        Familiarity with the key compliance regimens relevant to client- HIPAA, Privacy (US, India), Information Security Management (ISO27001), SOC2 and others - and the required audit and certification activities.

·        The ability to interact with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and races.

·        Excellent presentation, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
