We are looking to hire a full-time IT Business Partner – Manufacturing for one our leading FMCG Client in Bangalore
It would be required for him/her to play a critical role in driving digital transformation and operational excellence within the manufacturing function by implementing relevant technology platforms to automate, digitalize and transform manufacturing operations
Work week: Mon- Sat with 2nd & 4th Sat off
Location - Bangalore
Age limit- upto 42 Years
Budget - upto 50 LPA
Ideal Notice period- within 60 days
Education : An MBA (preferably with a BE/BTech)
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ü Partner with manufacturing and factory teams to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and technology needs, and translate them into IT initiatives and solutions.
ü Lead the implementation and optimization of solutions relevant to manufacturing operations, including Production Planning (PP), Material Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Plant Maintenance (PM), Quality Management (QM), and/or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
ü Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Material Requirement Planning (MRP) processes, ensuring accurate demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and production scheduling.
ü Drive digital factory initiatives to enhance automation, efficiency, and visibility across manufacturing processes, leveraging technologies such as IoT, data analytics, and robotics.
ü Develop and implement solutions for production planning and scheduling, capacity management, and resource optimization, aligning with business priorities and operational requirements.
ü Partner with quality management teams to implement and maintain quality control processes, compliance standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
ü Collaborate with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure robust and secure connectivity for manufacturing systems and equipment.
ü Facilitate change management and adoption of new technologies within the manufacturing environment, providing training, support, and documentation as needed.
ü Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in manufacturing and IT, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
Academic
ü An MBA (preferably with a BE/BTech)
Professional
ü 15+ years of experience in IT business partnering or similar roles, with a focus on manufacturing operations and SAP implementation.
ü Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
ü Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
ü Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
ü Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Production Planning, Execution, Maintenance, and Quality Management.
ü Hands-on experience with SAP modules relevant to manufacturing operations, such as PP, MM, PM, QM, and MES.
ü Experience with digital factory initiatives, including IoT, data analytics, robotics, and automation technologies.
ü Experience working with industry-specific manufacturing solutions or platforms.
