Position: Taxation Manager

Job Location: Gurgaon

Role & Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance:

Oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance for the organization.

Ensure timely and accurate filing of all required local, state, and federal tax returns.

Tax Planning and Strategy:

Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position.

Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to proactively identify opportunities and risks.

Financial Reporting:

Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting related to taxation matters.

Prepare and analyze tax provisions for financial statements.

Audit Support:

Act as the primary point of contact for tax-related audits and examinations.

Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as necessary.

Research and Analysis:

Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide clear and concise recommendations.

Analyze the impact of proposed transactions on the company's tax position.

Documentation and Recordkeeping:

Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all tax-related documents.

Ensure compliance with record retention policies.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, including legal and operations, to understand the tax implications of business decisions.

Provide guidance to the team on tax-related matters.

Qualifications:

Education and Certification:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant post-qualification experience.

Experience:

Minimum 7 years of experience in tax compliance and planning.

Experience in the travel industry or related sectors is a plus.

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of local and international tax regulations.

Proficient in tax accounting and financial reporting.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
