Job Overview

Trident Dispatch is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing process and ensure that production goals are met efficiently. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of production workers, managing production schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of products. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in production supervising.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience of 4 to 6 years in production supervision
• Strong supervision and leadership skills
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Knowledge of production planning and scheduling
• Experience in procurement and inventory management
• Understanding of maintenance and preventive maintenance techniques
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in using production management software
• Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of production workers and ensure their adherence to production goals and safety regulations
• Manage and optimize production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines
• Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, maintenance, and quality control to ensure smooth production processes
• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions as required
• Control production costs by minimizing waste, optimizing resource utilization, and implementing cost-saving measures
• Manage inventory levels and ensure availability of raw materials and supplies
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production strategies
• Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and performance
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of production equipment and technologies
