Job Title: Senior US Travel Sales Consultant

Location: Mohan Estate, South Delhi

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: US shift (Rotational)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior US Travel Sales Consultant with 3 to 5 years of experience in the travel industry. As a Senior Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing expert advice on travel arrangements, and leading the planning and booking process for both individual and corporate clients. You will play a key role in shaping customized travel experiences, managing complex itineraries, and ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage of the travel process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation & Sales: Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and requirements. Recommend and design customized travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, tours, and transportation.
  • Expert Travel Advice: Stay up-to-date with the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry regulations to provide expert recommendations and solutions. Advise on travel documentation requirements, visas, vaccinations, and safety tips.
  • Booking & Reservations: Manage the booking process, including flights, hotels, transportation, and travel packages, ensuring accuracy, cost-efficiency, and adherence to client preferences.
  • Complex Itinerary Management: Handle high-end, multi-destination, and complex itineraries for individual clients, corporate groups, or VIP travelers, ensuring all aspects of the travel experience are organized and seamless.
  • Vendor & Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with travel vendors, airlines, hotel chains, tour operators, and other suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, special offers, and reliable services.
  • Mentorship & Training: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, assisting in their professional development. Share best practices, tips, and knowledge to improve the team’s overall performance.
  • Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed sales targets by upselling travel products, services, and premium packages to clients.
  • Market Insights: Conduct regular market research to understand customer demands, emerging destinations, and industry trends. Proactively introduce new travel options or destinations that align with client needs.
  • Administrative Duties: Ensure all reservations, itineraries, and client details are accurately recorded and maintained in the company’s CRM or booking system. Handle any necessary administrative tasks related to invoicing, payments, and travel documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a US Travel Sales Consultant, US Travel Agent, or similar role within the travel industry, with a strong track record of managing complex itineraries and client relationships.
  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, airline routes, accommodations, and travel suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and suppliers effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or other GDS systems) and CRM tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage stressful situations and complex travel issues.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A results-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet sales goals and generate new business.
  • Customer-Focused: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand diverse client needs and deliver personalized solutions.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • PPC campaign Call Handling Experience required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of foreign languages is a bonus, especially for handling international clients or bookings.

Experience in corporate travel management and group bookings.
