Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and validating the structural components of our construction projects. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in the field. The job is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in structural design engineering
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in using design and analysis software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and STAAD.Pro
• Familiarity with architectural drawings and construction processes
• Experience in precast modeling and validation
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural components and systems for construction projects
• Create architectural drawings, including 2D and 3D models, using advanced software
• Prepare and review structural calculations, specifications, and reports
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design compliance with project requirements and industry standards
• Perform structural analysis and validation using appropriate engineering software
• Conduct structural inspections and evaluations to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Stay updated with the latest developments in structural engineering and codes
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior design engineers
