Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Architect to join our team at Town And City Developers. This is a senior-level, full-time position based in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing architectural design projects, understanding building codes, and overseeing construction processes. The role demands a strong blend of technical proficiency and creative problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Skills

B.Arch

• Architectural Design (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated expertise in creating and implementing design concepts for residential and commercial buildings.
• Building Codes Knowledge (Mandatory skill): Thorough understanding of local, state, and national building codes and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Project Management (Mandatory skill): Proven experience in managing architectural projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and scheduling.
• AutoCAD Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software for drafting and designing architectural plans.
• Construction Materials Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various construction materials and their application in building projects.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and contractors.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to creatively address and resolve design and construction challenges.
• Team Collaboration: Experience working effectively in a team environment and coordinating efforts with various stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for residential and commercial projects, ensuring innovative and functional outcomes.
• Develop detailed architectural plans and specifications in compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into practical design solutions.
• Coordinate with construction managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that construction aligns with design plans.
• Review and approve design modifications and suggest improvements as necessary.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in architectural design and construction.
