Job Overview


We are seeking a Travel Consultant to join our team at Tours I Go Holiday, a reputable travel agency offering diverse packages for both domestic and international destinations. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expert guidance to clients, helping them plan and book their dream vacations. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the travel industry.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Good knowledge of travel management and sales processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
  • In-depth knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, including popular tourist attractions, travel routes, and visa requirements.
  • Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Passion for travel and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Assist clients in planning and booking their travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and tours.
  • Provide expert advice on destination options, travel routes, travel restrictions, and visa requirements.
  • Handle inbound inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, and provide timely and accurate information to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their travel preferences and requirements.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best rates and packages for clients.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of bookings and transactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, travel regulations, and popular travel destinations.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues, resolving them in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
