Job Description:

As a Study Visa Counselor at Touchstone, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting prospective students in their journey to study abroad. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and support students through the visa application process, ensuring compliance with regulations and requirements for various countries.

Responsibilities:

1. Student Guidance: Provide accurate and comprehensive information to students regarding study programs, eligibility criteria, admission requirements, and available opportunities in different countries.
2. Visa Counseling: Guide students through the visa application process, explaining the necessary documents, financial requirements, and interview preparations for obtaining study visas.
3. Document Verification: Review and assess students' application documents, ensuring completeness, authenticity, and compliance with visa regulations and institution-specific requirements.
4. Liaison with Authorities: Establish and maintain effective communication with embassies, consulates, and immigration authorities to stay updated on visa policies, procedures, and changes in regulations.
5. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with students, providing continuous support, addressing queries, and offering guidance throughout the application and visa process.
6. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, applications, visa outcomes, and other relevant information in the company's database.
7. Compliance and Ethics: Ensure adherence to ethical standards, company policies, and legal regulations in all counseling and application processes.
8. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest developments in visa regulations, immigration policies, and educational opportunities to provide accurate guidance to students.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A background in counseling, education, or international relations is preferred.
• Proven experience in visa counseling, preferably in the education consultancy or international student services sector.
• Strong knowledge of visa application procedures, immigration policies, and requirements for various countries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, authorities, and team members.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and databases for documentation and record-keeping.
