A Java Developer is responsible for the design, development, and management of Java-based applications. They are responsible for writing code, troubleshooting and debugging, as well as testing and implementing software. They should have strong skills in Java programming and be familiar with various Java frameworks and libraries.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Troubleshoot and debug issues

Collaborate with other team members to develop software solutions

Test and implement software to ensure strong functionality and optimization

Stay up-to-date with current industry trends and advancements in Java technology

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Java programming and associated frameworks and libraries

Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns

Experience with software development tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, and Git

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Additionally, Some Java developer may also have experience in web development, and can work on front-end and back-end aspects of web applications using technologies like JSP, Servlet, Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate etc.
