Senior UX Designer (Connected Devices, IOT, Wearables)

Review Criteria

• Strong Interaction / Product Designer Profile
• Mandatory (Experience 1) - 3+ YOE in Interaction / UI Design / Product Design
• Mandatory (Experience 2) - Must have worked on Connected Devices, IOT, Wearables, Smart Watches etc. (Read in CV, Verify work in Portfolio)
• Mandatory (Portfolio) - Strong portfolio, of UI, Interaction Design works for Connected Devices, IOT, Wearables, Smart Watches etc.
• Mandatory (Education) - BDes or MDes
• Preferred (Company) - Product Company
• Note - Portfolio with IOT, Connected Devices or similar works is Mandatory.

Role & Responsibilities

• As a senior designer you would be an important member of the UX team working on Samsung’s current and future designs for Intelligence UX, IoT, Wearable and connected devices experience.
• You would be working in close collaboration with local stakeholders (Executives, Product Management, Engineering, Business teams), and with global design team.
• You are expected to think on a system level to design experiences that can work cohesively across multiple platforms and multiple devices.
• Create guidelines, reference artefacts, and resources wherever necessary for effective communication.
• You should have innate understanding of the current interaction trends, good visual design sensibilities, with deep awareness of latest design practices. It’s also desirable to have awareness, and passion in general for technology whether it’s AI, Generative AI, sensors, Machine learning or understanding of platforms like android, iOS.
• Keep themselves up to date and passionate about rapidly changing technology and share their unique perspective with the team.
• Ability to work with different stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet the needs and vision.
• Work with a fast paced design team across various design activity like user research, interaction design and shipping of design.
