Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures while ensuring the successful integration of various cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Architecture Design:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud-based solutions.
• Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures, utilizing industry best practices and established frameworks.

2. Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring the implementation of cloud solutions aligns with architectural best practices.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating relevant advancements into the architecture design process.

3. Solution Implementation:

• Lead the implementation of cloud solutions, including the configuration and deployment of infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud-based applications.

4. Security and Compliance:

• Develop and implement robust security measures for cloud environments, addressing data protection, identity management, and access controls.
• Ensure that cloud solutions comply with relevant regulatory and compliance standards.

5. Performance Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for performance optimization and cost efficiency within cloud environments.
• Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure to proactively address potential issues and enhance overall system performance.

6. Documentation and Training:

• Create comprehensive technical documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and processes.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on the effective use and management of cloud solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and automation.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud
• Certified - Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
