Team Lead - MEC
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
As a Team Lead, you will be working closely with your team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. We are looking for someone who understands what it takes to motivate and lead a team. Someone to develop a firm foundation for our operations and innovate on ways to scale it quickly and effortlessly while delivering WOW to our customers
To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in team handling and project deadlines. Should have experience in creating project reports and taking initiatives for process improvement.
Your Role at Large
Function Leadership
● You will lead by example, setting high standards for professionalism, productivity, and quality of work. Your leadership will inspire team members to excel in their roles.
● Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within your team. Identify training needs and provide coaching and mentoring to help team members grow in their roles.
● Act as a mediator and handle any conflicts or issues that may arise within the team. Promote a harmonious working environment.
● Collaborate with upper management to define team objectives and ensure that team members are aligned with the overall organizational goals.
● Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel and tools, to ensure that projects are executed smoothly and on time.
● Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and assist in setting performance improvement plans when needed.
● Maintain open and effective communication channels within the team and across different departments or project stakeholders.
● Lead your team in identifying and resolving issues or challenges that may arise during project execution. Encourage a proactive problem-solving approach.
Key Responsibilities
● Performing effective people management (one-to-ones, coaching, career development)
● Controlling and monitoring daily/weekly operations, providing timely reactions to different situations
● Handle escalations calls
● Acting as the point of contact for any internal or external escalation
● Challenging processes/procedures in the context of continuous improvement
● Leading the team toward success by meeting company and team KPIs
● Assessing the quality of work and making sure the team meets defined targets
● Performance management for the team against the defined SLAs
● The ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple projects at once and meeting tight deadlines
Academic Qualifications:
● Graduate or Post-graduate in any stream
● Expertise in Data analysis
Preferred qualifications:
● A bachelor’s degree or master's degree in a related field
● At least 2 years of experience managing a team of 20+ FTEs
● Strong English communication skills
● Experience using Google documents and spreadsheets
