Engineering Manager (10+ Yrs)

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager who can lead a team of about 10 engineers and help them deliver quality software products. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in system design, AWS, and full-stack development. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development process, ensuring that our team is working efficiently and effectively, and delivering high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team engineers and ensure timely delivery of software products
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure that the development team meets them
• Oversee and implement DevOps strategies and plans that align with the company's goals and objectives. Ensure 99.99% application uptime.
• Designing and implementing complex software systems and architectures, taking into account scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Ensure that the team is following the best practices and coding standards for software development
• Mentor and coach the team members to help them develop their skills
• Oversee the entire development process from planning to release
• Work with the team to identify and mitigate technical risks
• Manage the team's workload and prioritize tasks effectively
• Conduct regular performance reviews for the team members
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development
• At least 3 years of experience in leading a team of engineers
• Strong technical background in system design, AWS, and full-stack development
• Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
