Key Responsibilities:
▪ Revenue Generation: Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed business targets in the tech product sector.
▪ Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to foster a high performance culture.
▪ Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
▪ Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales pipeline, ensuring effective management of leads and opportunities.
▪ Prospecting: Utilize data-driven approaches for offline prospecting and lead generation to identify new business opportunities.
▪ Sales Processes: Establish and maintain sales policies, practices, and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
▪ Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development
▪ Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and enhances profitability.
▪ Set clear sales targets and KPIs, ensuring these are met by the sales team to drive revenue and market growth.
▪ Regularly analyse sales data, customer feedback, competitor data, and market trends to make informed, data-driven decisions and recommendations.
2. Revenue Growth
▪ Drive revenue growth by expanding the customer base and increasing sales to existing customers.
▪ Oversee the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads and opportunities.
▪ Manage pricing strategies, contracts, and negotiations to maximize profitability.
3. Customer Relationship Management
▪ Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for major accounts.
▪ Understand customer needs and collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, customer support) to ensure high customer satisfaction and product fit.
▪ Lead proof of concepts (POCs) to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our solutions to potential clients.
▪ Address customer issues and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
4. Team Leadership
▪ Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and maintain high performance.
▪ Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
▪ Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
5. Market and Competitor Analysis
▪ Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition.
▪ Provide feedback to the product team on market demands and opportunities for new product features or enhancements.
6. Reporting and Analytics
▪ Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to the executive team.
▪ Utilize data and analytics to drive sales decisions, improve forecasting accuracy, and optimize the sales process.
▪ Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and strategic plans to stakeholders.
7. Collaboration
▪ Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand awareness.
▪ Collaborate with product management to provide customer insights that inform product development.
▪ Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate revenue reporting and budgeting.
8. Team Expansion
▪ Assist in recruiting and onboarding additional team members to support expanding operations.
▪ Own the entire function of onboarding additional services to grow the digital share of sales.
