Role and Responsibilities:

1. Magento Development: Design and develop e-commerce websites using the Magento platform, following best practices for code quality, security, and performance.
2. Customization: Customize and extend Magento functionality to meet the specific requirements of clients, including custom modules and themes.
3. Theme Development: Create and modify Magento themes to ensure a responsive and visually appealing online store, aligning with client brand guidelines.
4. Module Development: Develop and integrate custom Magento modules to enhance the website's functionality and meet business needs.
5. Data Integration: Configure and manage data integration with third-party systems, including payment gateways, shipping services, and ERP systems.
6. Performance Optimization: Optimize website performance, including page load times and server response times, to ensure a smooth user experience.
7. Security: Implement security best practices to protect customer data and prevent vulnerabilities, such as cross-site scripting (XSS) and SQL injection.
8. Version Control: Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase and collaborate with other developers on the team.
9. Testing: Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing and integration testing, to identify and resolve bugs and issues.
10. Maintenance: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for Magento websites, including regular updates, patches, and troubleshooting.
11. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, configurations, and processes for easy reference and knowledge transfer.
12. Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of e-commerce projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong experience in Magento development, including Magento 1 and Magento 2.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
• Knowledge of Magento best practices and coding standards.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices and online retail workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Certification in Magento development is a plus.
