Job Title: IT Executive

Full Time Role

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Executive to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including asset management, barcode printing, network troubleshooting, hardware troubleshooting, and providing technical support to our employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive asset management system, including tracking hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Manage and operate barcode printers to ensure accurate asset tracking and labeling.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN and WAN) to maintain optimal network performance. This includes troubleshooting issues with routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware malfunctions and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Provide technical support to internal users, resolving their IT-related issues and inquiries.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry best practices in IT systems management.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a technical support or IT systems administration role.
  • Proven experience with asset management systems and barcode technology.
  • Strong understanding of network troubleshooting methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
