Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Thomas Global Logistics Pvt Ltd. As an Accountant, your role will involve managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is a full-time position based in Delhi, India, and is suitable for candidates with 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Monitor and analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Process invoices, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and decision-making
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends
