Functional Automation Quality Engineer Salesforce

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer with a strong foundation in Quality Engineering practices and extensive experience in Functional UI and API automation. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of Salesforce and be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our software products through rigorous testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Functional UI and API testing.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans.

- Identify, document, and track defects and ensure their resolution.

- Implement and advocate for best practices in Quality Engineering and automation.

- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.

- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.

- Leverage Salesforce knowledge to design and execute tests specific to Salesforce applications and integrations.

- Mentor and guide junior team members in QE practices and automation techniques

Required Skills:

- Strong background around OOPs concepts using Java, Javascript.

- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks preferably Karate (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman).

- Knowledge of Salesforce platform, including its features, functionalities, and integrations.

- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Associate, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are a plus.

- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.

- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
