Job Summary:

The HR Recruiter/Generalist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains the best talent. This role involves sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating the hiring process to meet the company’s staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pool of potential candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Screening & Interviewing:
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Conduct interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Candidate Experience:
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Communicate promptly with candidates at every stage of the hiring process.
  • Provide feedback to candidates regarding their application status.
  • Job Posting & Advertising:
  • Write and post job advertisements on job boards, careers pages, and social media.
  • Optimize job postings to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Employer Branding:
  • Promote the company’s employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Participate in job fairs, campus recruitment, and other networking events.
  • Data Management & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and candidate pipeline.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all recruitment and candidate information.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience in recruitment or HR.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR databases.
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment tools.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred:
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in IT recruitment.
  • Certification in HR is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Occasional travel may be required for job fairs, campus recruitment, or networking events.
