Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Trader to join our team. The General Trader will be responsible for managing the purchasing and trading operations of our beauty products. This includes ensuring a consistent supply of products, negotiating with suppliers, monitoring market trends, and managing inventory efficiently. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in trade management, supply chain, and the beauty industry
Job Overview:
The General Trade Representative will be responsible for managing and expanding the general trade network for The Professional World Pvt. Ltd. in the beauty industry. This includes promoting and selling the brands Argatin, Sprirg, and Skinco across retail outlets and beauty stores in East & South Nepal, and MP/UP regions in India. The role focuses on building relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers to drive sales and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Distribution Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and retail partners in assigned regions.
- Drive sales growth through effective management of the general trade network.
- Ensure that beauty products (Argatin, spring, and Skin.co) are stocked and displayed prominently in retail outlets.
- Negotiate and implement trade agreements with retail partners to maximize product reach and sales.
- Brand Promotion:
- Promote and increase brand visibility through retail marketing initiatives and point-of-sale materials.
- Conduct product training sessions for sales staff at retail outlets to ensure they have the necessary knowledge about the products.
- Organize in-store promotions and activations to boost sales and attract customers.
- Market Research & Feedback:
- Gather market intelligence, including competitor activities, customer preferences, and industry trends, to inform sales strategies.
- Provide feedback to the management team on product performance, market conditions, and customer insights.
- Identify new sales opportunities in the assigned regions and actively pursue business growth.
- Inventory and Stock Management:
- Monitor product stock levels in retail outlets to ensure timely replenishment and availability.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to manage product distribution efficiently.
- Ensure that products are presented according to brand standards, ensuring proper shelf space and product rotation.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Foster long-term relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with the brand’s products.
- Address customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain a positive brand image.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, and customer interactions.
- Report on sales performance, market trends, and promotional activities to senior management.
