Job Description

Business Development Manager with specialised expertise in diamond sales to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing accounts within the diamond industry. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the diamond market, strong industry relationships, and a proven track record of sales success.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

-       Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the diamond industry. Analyse competitor activities and market dynamics to develop targeted sales strategies.

-       Generate new business leads through targeted prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to drive sales growth.

-       Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at diamond wholesalers, retailers, manufacturers, and industry associations.

-       Understand client needs and preferences to tailor solutions and maximise sales opportunities

-       Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients. Showcase the value proposition of our diamond products/services and differentiate us from competitors.

-       Lead negotiations with clients to close sales and secure contracts.

-       Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Ensure timely execution of contracts and agreements.

-       Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.

-       Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress. Generate regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.

Qualification & Experience

-       Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

-       Minimum 5+ Years of experience in a relevant industry.
