Skills :Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Sketch Up, 3D Max(V-ray) or similar design software.

Interior Designer Responsibilities:

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design or Industrial Design or a related field

·       10+ years of progressive work experience in furniture design, retail stores design, or architecture industry experience

·       Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software like SketchUp, V-ray, and AutoCAD

·       Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings

·       Strong knowledge of furniture and material specifications for various retail environments

·       Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

·       Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills

·       Budgeting and cost estimating experience for projects.

·       · Conceptualize and sketch design plans.

·       · Consistently bringing great, fresh ideas to the team that are project appropriate, captures the look and attitude and articulates why they feel it meets the needs.

·       · Can prepare technical detailed drawing of furniture for production and MEP drawing for site related.

·       · Knowledge of Site measurement and Supervision with cost estimation.

·       · Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.

·       · Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.

·       · Source materials and products included in plans.

·       · Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.

·       · Utilize computer applications in the design process.

·       · Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.

·       · Wide interest/knowledge of creative industry

·       · Work independently or with minor oversight to perform assignments including, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation.

·       · Train and mentor junior designers.

·       · Be wildly creative and push the boundaries

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field.

·       Portfolio of design work.

·       Project management experience.

·       Experience with computational design.

·       Highly creative, imaginative and artistic.

Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
