We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Purchase Executive to join our procurement team at [Company Name]. The successful candidate will assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for the production of high-quality furniture. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Procurement: Support the procurement team in sourcing raw materials, hardware, and other supplies needed for furniture manufacturing.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Order Processing: Prepare purchase orders, track orders, and ensure that all orders are received in good condition and on time.
  • Cost Control: Assist in analyzing market trends to identify potential cost savings and ensure procurement within the budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that all purchased materials meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, suppliers, and delivery schedules.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on purchase activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
  • Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of the furniture manufacturing industry and supply chain management principles.
