Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for our furniture manufacturing operations. This role requires a deep understanding of the furniture manufacturing industry and the ability to fill both blue-collar and white-collar positions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the talent needs of the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Sourcing and Talent Pipeline: Utilize various sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking) to build a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Job Postings and Descriptions: Create and post clear, compelling, and inclusive job descriptions tailored to each role within the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, providing feedback and recommendations.
- Employer Branding: Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the company's employer brand, promoting it as an employer of choice in the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and report on recruitment metrics, identifying areas for improvement and providing insights to improve the recruitment process.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all recruitment practices comply with labor laws and company policies, maintaining accurate documentation of all recruitment activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the manufacturing or furniture industry.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and talent acquisition strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Ability to handle multiple positions simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations related to recruitment and employment.
