Responsibilities
· Order office stationery and supplies
· Handling basic office tasks, such as filing, delivering mail, answering emails and phone calls, and data entry.
· Submit expense reports
· Maintain a filing system for data
· Maintaining, repairing, or replacing office equipment.
· Organize, store and print company documents as needed.
· Make travel arrangements
· Handles administrative tasks for faculty searches and vendors.
· Maintains accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
· Solves problems associated with vendors regarding shipments, billing, and statements.
· Monitors expenditures, processes payment requests for reimbursement; prepares purchase orders, purchase requisitions and ensures proper procedures for paying service providers, consultants, and contractors.
Requirements and skills
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 2 to 3 years of experience in administrative services or related fields.
· Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.
· Professional appearance, courteous manner, and clear, friendly phone voice.
· Experience with office management tools (MS Office software- Excel, Word, in particular)
