As an Academic Counselor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in making informed decisions about their academic and career goals. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in academic counseling.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in academic counseling or related field.
• Strong knowledge of educational institutions, programs, and admission processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish a trusting relationship with students and parents.
• Proficient in sales processes and techniques.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide academic counseling and guidance to prospective students and parents.
• Assist students in identifying and clarifying their educational and career goals.
• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to assess students' interests, aptitudes, and abilities.
• Inform students about various academic programs, admission requirements, and career opportunities.
• Assist students in the college application and enrollment process.
• Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure student success.
• Keep updated records of student interactions and progress.
• Attend educational fairs, conferences, and other events to promote the company's services.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in educational policies and trends.
