Job Description

• Cloud Solution Design: Create Low Level designs for cloud-based solutions, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency. Develop blueprints and documentation for the implementation of cloud architectures.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Resolving complex issues related to compute resources, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, or other technical challenges.
• Performance Optimization: Tuning and optimizing the performance of compute resources to ensure efficient and effective utilization of processing power.
• Capacity Planning: Planning for future resource needs by analyzing trends, usage patterns, and growth projections to ensure that there is sufficient computing capacity.
• Advanced Configuration and Management: Handling advanced configurations of compute resources, possibly involving specialized hardware or software components.
• Security and Compliance: Ensuring that compute resources adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements. Implementing and monitoring security measures to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration with Other Teams: Working closely with other IT teams, such as networking, storage, and security, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of compute resources within the broader IT infrastructure.
• Automation and Scripting: Implementing automation solutions and scripts for efficient management and deployment of compute resources. This could involve scripting languages like Python or utilizing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
• Incident Response and Resolution: Responding to incidents related to compute resources promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on services.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Creating and maintaining documentation for configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices. Sharing knowledge with other team members to improve overall competency.

Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• CCNA, CCNP, Public Cloud (AWS, GCP or AZURE) & VMWare NSX Certifications are must.
• Complete understanding of Routing & Switching.
• 10+ years of experience in Cloud-based Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, XaaS etc).
• Hands on experience on Scripting & Automation will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage high-performance, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
