MySQL

MUST HAVE SKILL:

➢ Primary knowledge in - MySQL and secondary knowledge in Oracle/ SQL Server/ PL SQL.

➢ Good knowledge of MySQL’s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM.

➢ Good knowledge in Creating Database and tables with proper collation.

➢ Good knowledge in Table design, Queries, Procedures, functions, triggers development.

➢ Good knowledge in Identify bottlenecks in database performance and tuning database and SQL

queries.

➢ Good Knowledge in Optimize MySQL queries, create/maintain database index.

➢ Good Knowledge in Database Backup and Restore concepts.

PREFERRED SKILL (Added Advantage):

➢ Knowledge in Support with DB Server monitoring.

➢ Design, implement, and monitor disaster recovery plans as it pertains to the production

database environment.

➢ Ensure availability, reliability and security of the database in production and staging

environments.

➢ Good Knowledge in Prepare documentations and specifications.

➢ Knowledge of MySQL features, such as its event scheduler.

➢ Perform capacity planning for database growth.

➢ Develop diagrams for data structure entity relationships and data flows.

➢ Prepare reports for databases and customize for specific needs.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

➢ Ability to plan, create/modify the Database and tables to support for development activity in a

timely manner.

➢ Ability to write the stored procedure, function, trigger.

➢ Ability to create & manage the master tables.

➢ Understanding of complete database architecture.

➢ Understanding of Linux/Centos Server environment.
