Skills
- Overall 6 to 8 years, with a minimum 4 years as a Release Manager being familiar with the Release management, Change management, Incident Management processes.
- Banking domain knowledge is preferable
- Should be able to articulate the changes from a layman perspective free of technical jargons
- Communicate with Project Managers/Scrum masters to understand the demand and prepare Release plan in line with the Business priorities.
- Must take charge/control for a given area as Release Manager and able to manage and coordinate the deployment process independently.
- Perform effective Stakeholders communication by sending outages/release comms.
- Manage releases according to the organization standards and adhere to timelines.
- Ensure appropriate resources are available and communicate deployment status as necessary.
- As a specialist of a release management tool must act as a leader to support, train other team members if they are facing any issues in the deployment of the releases/project streams.
- Identify risks during code conflict, merging and make sure to deploy quality code in production and should conduct release reviews
- Must know how to package and deploy metadata components, knowledge on release branching strategies, code merging and should have worked on conflict resolution strategies.
