Job Overview
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping operations of Acacia Hotel. This includes ensuring cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the hotel, managing a team of housekeeping staff, and ensuring that the hotel meets the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The Housekeeping Manager is also responsible for managing inventory, handling customer service issues related to housekeeping, and ensuring that all cleaning procedures are followed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a similar role for 7 to 10 years
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and best practices
- Excellent team management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively solve problems and handle customer service issues
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in budgeting and cost control
- Attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness

Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the housekeeping operations of Acacia Hotel
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
- Manage a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and ensure proper utilization
- Respond to customer service issues related to housekeeping and resolve them in a timely manner
- Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure efficient operation of the hotel
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards
- Monitor the performance of housekeeping staff and provide feedback and coaching as necessary
- Handle budgeting and cost control for the housekeeping department
