Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and customer-oriented Front Office Associate to join our team at Acacia Hotel in Morjim. This is a full-time, junior-level position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will assist in providing a seamless experience for our guests, ensuring each visitor feels welcomed and attended to.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry
- Strong customer service skills to ensure guests have a pleasant stay
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff
- Exceptional organizational skills for managing bookings, guest details, and daily reports
- Keen attention to detail to maintain high standards of service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism to represent the hotel brand appropriately
- Effective problem-solving skills to handle guest complaints and queries promptly and satisfactorily
- Proficient computer skills for managing systems such as booking software and internal communication tools
Roles and Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming guests upon their arrival at the hotel
- Managing the check-in and check-out process smoothly and efficiently
- Handling guest inquiries, providing information about hotel services, and resolving any issues that may arise
- Coordinating with other departments such as housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs
- Maintaining accurate records of bookings and payments, ensuring data integrity in hotel management software - IDS
- Assisting in room assignments and reservations management
- Providing concierge services and assisting guests with travel arrangements and local recommendations
- Ensuring the front desk area is clean and presentable at all times
