Job Overview

Acacia Hotel is seeking a skilled Chinese Commi 2 to join our team. This role requires a candidate with 1 to 3 years of experience in Chinese cuisine. As a Chinese Commi 2, you will be responsible for assisting the chef in preparing and cooking Chinese dishes. This is a full-time position based in Morjim, Goa, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Chinese cuisine
• Knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist the chef in preparing and cooking Chinese dishes according to menu specifications
• Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes are up to the standards set by the chef
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Monitor and manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dishes and menu items
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
