Job Overview
Acacia Hotel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager for our Candolim location. This mid-level, full-time position requires a work experience of 4 to 6 years in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the front office operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and assisting the Front Office Manager in daily tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Customer Service (Mandatory skill)
- Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and staff
- Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve guest issues promptly
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload
- Effective time management skills to handle the front desk operations smoothly
- Keen attention to detail to ensure all guest needs are met and operations are seamless
- Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with other departments
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the front office to ensure efficient and smooth services for guests
- Maintain an optimal flow of communication between the front office and other departments
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests
- Support the Front Office Manager in staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure accurate completion and handling of front office records, transactions, and reports
- Implement and maintain front office procedures and protocols to enhance guest experiences
- Monitor and manage the inventory of front office supplies and equipment
- Handle emergencies or urgent issues as they arise, coordinating with relevant departments as necessary
