Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and motivated Executive - HR to join our team at Thanal, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development. As an Executive - HR, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our organization. This is a full-time position based in Kozhikode, Kerala, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Proficient in payroll processing and HRIS software.
- Familiarity with disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Should be fluent in English, Hindi and Malayalam.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding process, including drafting job descriptions, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
- Manage and maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Coordinate payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Administer disciplinary and grievance procedures in accordance with company policies.
- Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to employees.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture.
- Assist in planning and conducting employee training programs.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Support HR team with various administrative tasks as needed.
