Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Implementation Manager with a proven background in Core

Banking software implementation. The ideal candidate will lead the entire software acquisition and

implementation lifecycle, ensuring that the solutions chosen are scalable, future-proof, and aligned with the

long-term objectives of the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of the banking domain,


advanced project management skills, and experience in software procurement, customization, and post-

implementation support. The candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, overseeing


contract negotiations, and ensuring the successful deployment of Core Banking solutions that seamlessly

integrate with our existing systems.

- Vendor Selection: Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for Core Banking software solutions based on

organizational requirements, scalability, and support infrastructure.

- Procurement Process: Oversee the software acquisition process, ensuring alignment with budgetary

constraints and business goals. Work closely with legal and procurement teams to ensure compliance.

- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms in vendor contracts, focusing on pricing, licensing, and

service level agreements (SLAs). Ensure that business objectives and long-term goals are met.

- Implementation Planning: Develop a comprehensive roadmap for software deployment, including project

timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management. Establish clear objectives and ensure

adherence to deadlines.

- Customizations & Integrations: Collaborate with internal teams and software vendors to ensure the Core

Banking solution is customized to meet business-specific needs. Lead the integration of the software with

existing systems to ensure a seamless user experience.

- Testing & Quality Assurance: Establish and oversee testing protocols, including functional, performance, and

stress testing. Work closely with QA teams to resolve any issues before full-scale deployment.

- Training & Change Management: Design and lead training sessions for end-users, ensuring a smooth

transition and adoption of the new system. Implement effective change management strategies and provide

ongoing support to users post-deployment.

- Project Leadership: Lead the project lifecycle from inception to completion, acting as the primary point of

contact for all stakeholders. Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and

potential roadblocks.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s

degree in Management or IT is a plus.

- Experience: 8-15 years of experience in software implementation, with at least 5+ years dedicated to Core

Banking systems. Proven track record in managing large-scale software implementations in the banking

domain.

- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Core Banking platforms, software integration, and customization.

Familiarity with software testing protocols, performance metrics, and quality assurance practices.

- Project Management: Advanced project management skills, including experience with tools like MS Project,

Jira, and methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. Ability to manage multiple aspects of project execution

simultaneously.

- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Strong experience in vendor negotiation, contract management, and

maintaining healthy vendor relationships. Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to communicate

complex issues clearly.

- Soft Skills: Leadership qualities, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail. Strong communication and

interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing cross-functional teams and external partners.
