Salary : 20,000/- Per Month

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Execution:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Execute test cases using both manual and automated testing methods to verify the functionality and integrity of web applications.

1. Bug Identification and Reporting:

• Methodically identify, isolate, and document software defects and inconsistencies using established bug tracking systems.
• Communicate effectively with development teams to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.

1. Functional and Non-functional Testing:

• Conduct thorough functional testing to validate that web applications meet specified requirements and perform as expected.
• Perform non-functional testing to assess performance, security, and compatibility across various browsers and platforms.

1. Regression Testing:

• Implement regression testing strategies to validate that previously developed and tested software functions correctly after modifications or updates.

1. User Experience (UX) Testing:

• Evaluate the user experience of web applications by assessing usability, accessibility, and overall user interface design.

1. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and project managers to prioritize testing activities and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Communicate testing progress, results, and potential risks effectively to stakeholders.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Proactively contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing testing methodologies and optimizing the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (BCA/MCA/B.E in Computer Engineering).
• Alternatively, a Diploma in Computer Engineering or IT Engineering with relevant experience in software testing may be considered.
• Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
• Proficiency in utilizing testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
