Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Project Management Officer (PMO) to oversee the
execution of key projects within the organization. The PMO will be responsible for defining project
scope, developing detailed plans, allocating resources, managing budgets, and ensuring effective
communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project
management methodologies, possess excellent organizational skills, and have the ability to
manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires a high level of strategic planning and
execution to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Project Planning: Define the project’s scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. Develop
comprehensive project plans to guide the execution and control phases.
- Resource Allocation: Assign team members and resources effectively, ensuring that each
project has the appropriate support to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage project expenses to ensure the project remains
within budget. Prepare financial forecasts and report on budget variances as necessary.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them,
ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and deliverables.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress using tools such as Gantt charts, project
dashboards, or dedicated project management software. Provide regular updates and reports to
senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and performance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, consistent, and proactive communication with all
stakeholders, including internal teams, managers, and clients. Ensure that all parties are
informed of project milestones, changes, and updates.
- Post-Implementation Review: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance, capture
lessons learned, and identify areas for improvement. Provide reports on project outcomes and key
success metrics to management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related
field. PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience: 5-10 years of project management experience, ideally in a PMO role or managing
large, cross-functional projects.
- Project Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such
as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches. Proficiency in project management software tools such
as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello.
- Budget & Financial Management: Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets,
tracking expenses, and reporting on financial performance.
- Communication & Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
- Risk & Change Management: Expertise in identifying risks and implementing effective risk
mitigation and change management strategies.
- Soft Skills: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet
deadlines. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
