Job Title: Articleship Assistant (CA or CA Pursuing)

Location: Ahmedabad

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Articleship Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals currently pursuing their CA certification or those who have recently completed their CA Intermediate exams. As an Articleship Assistant, you will gain valuable experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and regulatory compliance under the guidance of experienced Chartered Accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in auditing financial statements and maintaining financial records.
• Perform tax computations and assist in filing tax returns (GST, income tax, etc.).
• Support in conducting statutory audits and internal audits as per the firm’s requirements.
• Prepare working papers and documentation for audit findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
• Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings and organizing files.

Requirements:

• Pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) with at least completed CA Intermediate level.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship or articleship experience in a CA firm or similar role.
• Familiarity with statutory compliance requirements and taxation laws.
• Certification or training in auditing techniques and practices.
