Position Overview:

The Accountant Executive plays a pivotal role in maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and facilitating effective communication within the finance team. They are responsible for reconciling accounts, preparing balance sheets, and managing various accounting tasks. A keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency in accounting principles are essential for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities:


Reconciliation:

Conduct regular reconciliation of financial accounts, including bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger entries.

Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Collaborate with internal teams to investigate discrepancies and implement corrective measures as needed.


Communication:

Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Provide timely and accurate financial reports to management, highlighting key insights and trends.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.


Balance Sheet Preparation:

Prepare and analyze balance sheets to assess the financial health of the organization.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations in balance sheet reporting.

Recommend strategies for improving financial performance based on balance sheet analysis.


Accounts Management:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment collection, and vendor management.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure timely processing of payments.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and audit documentation.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on reconciliation and balance sheet preparation.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
