Role: Java Developer

Exp Level: 5+ years

Work Location: Malaysia

Job Description

- JAVA programmer

- Program coding, unit testing, integrated testing and support user acceptance testing.

- Immediate rectification of all problems encountered during user SIT/acceptance testing.

- Ensure programs are migrated to acceptance environment upon completion of integrated testing.

- Post implementation support

- Conduct code review for each release.

- Ensure test accuracy and completeness for a problem free-implementation

- Strong communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners

- Provide guidance and coach junior developers on their development work

- Good interpersonal, persuasion, leadership and ability to drive work progress

- Able to relate to business requirements and understand business drivers and imperatives

- Able to provide Post Production Support

Technical Skills:

- Familiar with JAVA Editor (Eclipse Indigo. jEdit & etc)

- Experience in open platform technologies (

• Java 6 & 8
• Struts Framework and spring Framework
• WebSphere application server
• Shell Script
• Web Service: JSON and XML
• Html, CSS, JavaScript, JSP

- Well verse in Oracle, PL-SQL,Toad & Putty

- Commanding in Jboss EAP

- Knowledge IBM Manager,IBM WAS & Apache HTTP is an advantage

- Knowledge of MQ

- Familiar with Linux & Solaris environment.

- MS Excel or MS Project for planning and reporting

- HPQC (an advantage)
