Our company is looking forward for a MS SQL database developer in managing multiple SQL Databases, Database Performance, ETL, Maintenance and Development.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

·     Setting up and monitoring routine maintenance SQL jobs and maintaining/creating an alert mechanism for unsuccessful jobs and database issues.

·     Support ETL team for monitoring and automation of ETL jobs

·     Generate SQL queries as per the demand from the application team.

·     Check all statistics related to memory, locks, I/O, database response time, wait events, top sessions, and background processes

·     Create indexes to achieve critical dataset response time for time sensitive reports.

·     Develop documentation and training of routine database administration tasks.

REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS

·     Knowledge in Database concepts, Data modelling concepts

·     MS SQL server architecture.

·     Knowledge of SSIS, Reporting services.

·     Database management for export, import and mass data loads, including backups, recovery, and maintenance.

·     Stored procedure concepts

·     Knowledge ETL tools

·     Monitoring and resolving data lock/blocking issues.

·     Experience in linked servers.
