Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team in Delhi. This full-time, mid-level position requires 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will contribute to our portfolio of ethnic fashion by bringing innovative designs and overseeing the production process. You will be responsible for creating fashionable designs in line with current trends, ensuring each piece aligns with our brand's quality and affordability commitment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven work experience of 4-6 years in fashion design, specifically in ethnic wear.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ladies ethnic wear, Indo-Western styles, and Kurtis (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in fashion design with a strong portfolio showcasing past work in ethnic garments (Mandatory skill).
• Ability to forecast fashion trends and innovate new designs that resonate with our brand identity and customer base.
• Proficiency in pattern making, ensuring designs are both creative and technically feasible for production.
• Skill in cost-effective and quality-efficient procurement of materials to enhance design value.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and other design software for sketching and technical drawing.
• Experience in handling dyeing processes, block printing, and both machine and hand embroidery techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and development of new designs contributing to seasonal collections.
• Conduct trend analysis to inform design decisions and ensure our offerings are competitive.
• Collaborate with production teams to translate design ideas into tangible garments.
• Oversee the pattern making and product development processes to maintain product integrity.
• Manage the selection of fabrics and trims, keeping both quality and cost considerations in mind.
• Ensure timely execution of designs from conceptualization to final product launch.
• Maintain awareness of current fashion and market trends to inspire and guide future designs.
• Supervise junior designers and support staff to foster an imaginative and productive design environment.
