Job Description: 

As a Quantitative Trading Developer, you will be responsible for developing new algorithmic trading strategies of various asset classes, spanning multiple geographies.

Responsibilities:

· Constantly innovate and come out with new and out of the box approaches towards extracting alpha systematically

· Deeply involved in the complete life cycle of strategy development process ranging from idea generation to live deployment.

· Strong coding and programming skills (Python majorly) to build strategies programmatically.

· Working closely with the team to design & develop Automated Strategies (Long/Short/ Neutral strategies) which also involves doing Back testing, Forward testing & Live execution.

· Assist in various strategy improvement or portfolio allocation projects

· Continuously track performance of strategies and strive towards improving the same; also use innovative new risk management technique to reduce tail risk

· Keen interest in market dynamics and micro- structure

· Developing Quant-based products for Cash & Derivative segments.

· Statistical analysis of trading data, and using it to design process flow and various layers of the strategy.

· Optimizing current trading strategies; critically analyzing them and adding risk management layers if required.

· Helping team members in understanding & developing systematic trading approach.

Mandatory Skills Required:

· Hands on experience of programming in Python, Pyspark and data base management.

· Experience in building algorithms programmatically.

· In depth understanding and working knowledge of various quantitative and statistical techniques

· Good macro understanding of market dynamics of various asset classes and how they change over time

· Knowledge with building data pipelines and data maintenance will be an additional advantage.
