Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, capable, and motivated Advocate Associate on a retainership basis to join our legal team. The Associate will be responsible for supporting our litigation department, with a focus on:

·      Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT)

·      National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT)

·      Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA)

·      Arbitration (domestic & international)

·      Real Estate Matters

Key Responsibilities:

·      Assist in handling and managing litigation cases in various legal forums.

·      Conduct trials, draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and negotiate settlements.

·      Provide legal representation in court hearings and arbitrations.

·      Research legal issues and provide effective legal strategies and solutions.

·      Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice.

·      Collaborate with senior advocates and other associates on complex cases.

·      Manage case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications and Skills:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.

·      Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.

·      4-5 years of experience in litigation, particularly in DRT, NCLT, RERA, Arbitration, and Real Estate matters.

·      Thorough understanding of legal procedures and court systems.

·      Strong analytical and research skills.

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·      High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

·      Strong organizational and time-management skills.

·      Proficiency in using all Microsoft Office tools.

·      Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
