Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team at Technacle IT Services Pvt Ltd. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining our Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Android development and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4-6 years of experience in Android development
• Strong knowledge of Java and Android SDK
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Understanding of Git version control
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
• Experience with UI development
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in Android development

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
