Job Descriptions

                 I.           Production Planning & Scheduling

a.     Analyze production schedules, work orders, and BOMs (bills of materials) to determine paint requirements and job priorities.

b.     Schedule paint jobs for both the conveyor system and manual booth, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and timely completion.

c.      Coordinate with production planners and stores team to ensure availability of necessary paint materials and equipment.

d.     Monitor progress against schedules and identify potential bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions as needed.

                             II.           Paint Shop Management

a.     Supervise the operation of the paint conveyor system and manual booth, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.

b.     Train and guide paint technicians on proper application techniques, equipment operation, and cleaning procedures.

c.      Monitor paint quality throughout the process, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.

d.     Maintain and update paint shop records, including inventory levels, paint usage data, and production logs.

                           III.           Paint Requirements & Inventory Management

a.     Collaborate with the stores team to forecast paint requirements based on production schedules.

b.     Monitor paint inventory levels and initiate timely requisitions to avoid stock outs.

c.      Ensure proper storage and handling of paint materials to maintain their quality and lifespan.

d.     Optimize paint usage by implementing efficient mixing ratios and minimizing waste.

                          IV.           Additional Requirements

a.     Maintain a clean and organized paint shop environment.

b.     Address safety concerns and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents.

c.      Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize paint shop operations and efficiency.

d.     Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and cross-functional collaboration.
