At hrGENie, we are at the forefront of revolutionizing the HR-tech space by leveraging AI to
transform talent acquisition. We are embarking on an exciting 0 to 1 journey, and as a small,
dynamic team, we are looking for a Founding Team Member who will play a crucial role in
shaping the product and driving business growth alongside the founder.
Role Overview:
As a Founding Team Member, you will work directly with the founder on the 0 to 1 journey of
product development, market research, and business strategy. This role is perfect for someone
who thrives in a startup environment and is passionate about building products from the ground
up. You’ll have a high-impact role, helping to turn ideas into reality while laying the foundation
for the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
● Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on competitors,
industry trends, and market needs to provide actionable insights that will influence
product strategy and sales efforts.
● Sales Strategy: Assist in refining sales tactics by analyzing market conditions, potential
customer segments, and growth opportunities.
● 0 to 1 Product Development: Collaborate with the founder to define the product vision,
roadmap, and key product features for hrGENie, ensuring alignment with market needs
and customer feedback.
● Strategic Initiatives: Take ownership of critical strategic projects that will define
hrGENie’s growth trajectory.
● Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise between sales, marketing, and product teams to
ensure alignment on business goals and objectives.
● Operational Support: Support day-to-day operations and assist the founder in handling
key initiatives, partnerships, and business developments.
What We’re Looking For:
● 2-5 years of total work experience. At least 1+ year of experience in consulting firms /
strategy offices of startups/tech companies in a similar role
● Bachelor’s degree from Top Tier Engineering College
● B2B Experience (Preferred): Candidates with prior experience in B2B product
development or B2B sales will be given priority, although this is not mandatory.
● Strong research and analytical skills with a passion for understanding market dynamics.
● Ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
● Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive attitude and a desire to work in a startup
environment.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced
setting.
● Knowledge of HR-tech or SaaS products is a plus but not required.
