Job Description for Sr. Purchase Executive(IT Procurement)

• Distribute numerous requests for quotes (RFQ)
• Research, negotiate and choose a vendor.
• Make an order for supplies.
• Discuss the contract and send the PO
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Obtain products or services.
• Acquire and examine the invoice (3-Way Matching)
• Approve the invoice and pay the supplier.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Ensuring orders are processed according to customer purchase order and ensuring all orders
• are accurate and delivered on time
• Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems.
• Maintaining month-end reports
• Vendor development
• Physical check of stock at own warehouse and at site/outside locations.
• Weekly/Monthly Audit of material and documents.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• An analytical mind and keep up with product and service trends
• Able to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards
• Exceptional leadership, task oriented and resource management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, verbal, and written
• communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
• Good vendor network
